1. Freight Broker Training: Our courses, available across various states and online, offer flexibility to study at your own pace. We cover technical and legal aspects, industry dynamics, negotiations with shippers, and much more. You may also find opportunities for entry-level jobs that give you hands-on experience.
   
   
2. General Skills Development: As a broker or agent, math proficiency and strong communication skills are vital. Our curriculum includes resources to hone these skills, preparing you for negotiations with shippers and carriers.
   
   
3. Company Registration and Business Plan Development: We guide you through the process of registering your company, choosing a unique name, and creating a robust business plan. This plan will outline your marketing and financial strategies, objectives, and roadmaps to success.
   
   
4. Freight Broker License: All brokers need a license from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). We walk you through the steps of obtaining a Motor Carrier Operating Authority or MC Number.
   
   
5. Surety Bond, and General Liability and Contingent Cargo Insurance: Gaining MC Authority requires obtaining a $75,000 freight broker bond. Once you have your MC number, you may also need to acquire General Liability and Contingent Cargo Insurance.
   
   
6. Agents of Service of Process Designation: For each state you operate in, we’ll help you designate an agent of service of process through Form BOC-3, submitted to the FMCSA.
